Habitat For Humanities of Peconic board
members and volunteers are people of all ages, occupations and faiths who believe that everyone deserves
a decent home. HFH families – who are given a hand up, not a handout -- are chosen based on need, ability to make
regular mortgage payments, and willingness to put 500 hours of “sweat equity”
into their home or other Habitat projects.
