2/1/2010 - SEEKING FAMILY FOR A NEW HOUSE

Habitat For Humanity of Peconic has announced that they will start construction of a new house in Bridgehampton this Spring.  They are currently accepting applications from interested families.

You are qualified if you:

  • Live in substandard and/or inadequate housing.
  • Earn between $40,000 and $65,000 in total annual income, based on a family of four (Larger families can earn proportionately more).
  • Are willing to partner with Habitat and can spend 500 hours in "sweat equity" in building the house.

4/19/2009 - DEDICATION HELD AT HABITAT HOME BUILT FOR RWANDAN FAMILY

The dedication of our East Hampton House took place at 10AM on July 9th. The house was dedicated in memory of Megan Vaughn.

JOIN US AS WE CELEBRATE COMPLETION OF OUR NEWEST HOUSE


WHAT: Dedication of Habitat for Humanity of Peconic's new house -- built in partnership with homeowner-to-be Faustin Nsabumukunzi and his family.

WHEN: Sunday, April 19th at 2 p.m. (rain or shine).

WHERE:  Bridgehampton-Sag Harbor Turnpike, Bridgehampton.

WHO: All are invited to join Faustin, his wife Agnes, and sons Fabrice, Didier and Thierry at the ceremony as they celebrate completion of their home with Habitat volunteers, supporters, friends, neighbors and well-wishers. Light refreshments will be served.
